Off-Roading
So I the other day I actually got our little dump run pick-up truck (every sweat equity home owner needs one) stuck in our back yard. Some people may think that I we must have a national forest back there. Nope. We have a quarter acre suburban backyard, and I was trying to back the truck up to the garage (challenging even for members of Cirque De Soleil.)
Remember dump-run pick-up trucks do not usually have great tires ( I have had skis with more traction) and I managed to not be able to back up. SO being the highly trained Vermont redneck (that I am not ) I pulled further into the yard. Uh-yeah.
So about three months ago our family from Czech did great things to help us out around the house, including the removal of a very large metal pole from the backyard. The filled it in with whatever was available (as I would have ). Whatever was available had made a happy habitat for grass. In reality it was a grass covered 3 foot mud pit, that was now working hard on swallowing the rear wheel of the truck.
Nothing is more shattering to the fragile man-ego than to have to call your buddy and tell them that you got your truck stuck in your own back yard.
Nothing
